Throughout the last 12 years, Data Recover Center has distinguished itself in the area of computing data recovery, this core activity being the source of the company’s name. This is the only Portuguese company performing data recovery, with its own laboratories in Portugal. The computing sector in Portugal has registered a significant growth during the last few years. Moreover, the computing safety sector is growing exponentially, boosted by a series of new system threats that induce a constant need for attention and concern. This growth has translated into a rise in the number of computers in use, and nowadays computing systems are increasingly used to store vital information, belonging to both companies and individuals. Any computer is subject to failure at any given time, and even corporate networks may fail to accomplish some of their safety requirements. One of the main consequences is the loss of the information contained in retrieval systems, with severe consequences at the business level.
